About

Hi there!

My name is Sandra Ganley Schlingermann and I’m the passionate founder of Jiving Juniors Dance School and Sandra Ganley Dance.

With a background in Irish dance and a BA in Irish music and dance from the Irish World Academy, I retired from competition and the World Championships at the age of 21.

My great interest and grá for the Irish country music scene then drove me to create a dance school to teach children jive and social dance, and so Jiving Juniors was born in 2016.

After getting a Masters in Primary Teaching under my belt, I decided to leave teaching and have worked full time in the country music scene for the past 9 years.

About Jiving Juniors

Founded in March 2016, Jiving Juniors is Ireland’s first and only dedicated children’s social dance school.

Now celebrating 9 years in business, Sandra has brought her passion for dance across the country, teaching workshops and classes, visiting schools and hosting seasonal camps for young dancers.

If your child loves the music of Nathan Carter, Derek Ryan, or the energy of country music, Jiving Juniors is the perfect place for them to get moving!

In a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment, children and teens will learn classic dances like the Jive, Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot, and Line Dance—everything they need to thrive in Ireland’s vibrant Country Music scene today.
